Out of all of the places in Indianapolis Lost Dutchman is the place to go! They paid me more then I expected for my fathers coin collection. They are friendly, professional, and family owned! They are also BBB members. Everyone I saw also selling at Lost Dutchman seemed to be pleased with what they were being paid for their items.

I love this coin shop! They always have great stuff to dig through and are very fair and nice people! I have sold them a few items and was very happy with the prices I was paid! Basically... don't bother going anywhere else... these people are the best!!

I've done business with LDRC several times over the past few years (from afar--I'm in San Francisco) and every transaction has been handled satisfactorily and promptly. my coin budget is nonexistent at the moment but when I have money again I'd definitely do more business with Lost Dutchman Rare Coins. ?

Lost Dutchman is primarily a coin shop, but they also buy jewelry, currency, and have appraisal services. The times I have visited the store it has always been clean, well-organized, and generally inviting. The staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable (they're not afraid to say I don't know when they don't know - which isn't often), and treats you with respect regardless of whether you're buying a few cheap coins to complete a collection or purchasing a lot of valuable items. I was particularly impressed by their selection of rare proof sets.
Prices have always been consistently lower than average (both locally and online), so they do well in that all-important aspect as well.

I have been to every store I can find in the Indianapolis area and this is the only store I would recommend going to. Nice people, fair prices paid, and very inviting. A great place!

The guys at Lost Dutchman is the best!!! I have been to most of the other shops in town and I will never go back after finding this place! They always treat me very fairly and greet me with a smile! All of the other shops in town seemed to be "bothered" when you want to come in and just look... but these guys encourage it and are more then willing to let me browse. I have also sold them several coins and was very pleased with the price they paid! Very fair and honest people there
